Commissioned a portrait of your favorite leader? Painted your own? Send us the file and we'll UV-print it edge-to-edge on a brass-finish metal card at standard card size (63.5 × 88.9 mm). Send a second file and we print the back too. You get a digital proof for approval before anything gets printed.
- File: PNG, PDF, or AI — 300 DPI minimum at print size
- Bleed: add 3 mm on all sides (final art 69.5 × 94.9 mm)
- Color: sRGB or CMYK; metallic areas can be left unprinted so the metal shows through

After you place the order, reply to the confirmation email with your art attached, one file per side. Proof within 48 hours, unlimited minor revisions. Custom leaders are printed on brass-finish metal only and share our current lead time of about 90 days.

Questions, answered
Can I actually play with metal tokens?
Yes — in Riftbound, tokens aren't part of your deck and the printed token cards from boosters aren't required; anything that clearly represents the token works. Metal tokens sit on the battlefield and never get shuffled. For sanctioned events, check with your tournament organizer first, as accessory policies vary.
How do I know which tokens my deck needs?
Each deck's two domain colors decide which tokens its cards can create — every set page lists its colors, and every token type page explains which colors need it. If your deck runs the same colors as a set, that set has you covered.
Will they scratch my other cards or sleeves?
No. Every plate is deburred and corner-rounded to the same radius as a standard card, then hand-inspected. They're smooth to the touch — but since tokens never go in your deck, they never touch your sleeved cards anyway.
What is UV printing?
UV printing lays down ink and instantly cures it with ultraviolet light, bonding it to the metal. The result is vivid, high-resolution art that resists scratching, fading, and fingerprints — far tougher than stickers or sublimation.
What exactly are the card stock tokens?
They're genuine Riftbound cards — bulk commons we buy at retail — with an opaque white underbase and our original token art UV-printed edge-to-edge over the face. You get authentic card thickness, texture, and shuffle feel at a fraction of the metal price, and none of the original card face stays visible. Card stock tokens are sold in packs of five per token type.
What size and weight are the cards?
Standard TCG size: 63.5 × 88.9 mm (2.5" × 3.5"), roughly 0.5 mm thick. Steel cards weigh about 25 g; brass runs a little heavier at about 28 g — a proper thunk when they hit the table.
Can you print art I found online for my custom leader?
Only if you own it or hold a license to reproduce it. We print original art, art you've commissioned with print rights, or art you've licensed — we can't print copyrighted game art or another artist's work without permission.
How long until my order arrives?
Right now we are working through a long print queue, so please allow about 90 days from order to delivery. That applies to catalog tokens and custom leader cards alike (custom cards enter the queue once you approve the proof). You will get a tracking email the moment your order ships.
Can a custom leader card be printed on both sides?
Yes. Send one file for the front and one for the back and we print both sides, included in the price. Custom leader cards are printed on brass-finish metal only, at standard card size, and every one gets a digital proof before it is printed.
